Daytime Treewalk™

A daytime discovery experience like no other, walk high amongst giant 118-year-old redwood trees and open your eyes to the natural beauty of our forest. A peaceful haven for you to discover above the forest floor, surround yourself with gentle giants, native fauna and sweeping silver ferns.

The Treewalk takes an average 40 minutes to complete.

Nightlights Treewalk™

Bask in the glow of our magical wonderland as the 118-year-old Redwoods forest comes to life by night. Walking high above the forest floor and beneath these gentle giants, you are transported to a captivating world of colour and light, where forest and fantasy come alive.

Redwoods Altitude

Looking for something a little more exhilarating?

Redwoods Altitude is a separate offering from the main Treewalk and offers a guided experience, up to 25m high. 7 meters higher than the existing Treewalk.

While harnessed in, one of our guides will lead you on a journey through the redwood canopy, negotiating suspension bridges and ziplines, whilst sharing the history of the Redwoods forest, local bird species and Maori legend.

  • This night walk was mystical and we walked up the higher ramp this time. Overall it was like a educational walk during the day and a magical one during the night! It is a Must do in Rotorua!

  • Coolest place ever! We went at dusk so did half of the walk in the day time and the other half in the semi dark when all the night lights were on! Was such a beautiful walk and loved every moment! The staff were super informative and nice. I will definitely be back in the future!

  • Wow! What a spectacular walk! We did the night walk first as we're not heights people, and loved the gorgeous lanterns and lights. We went back during the day and it was like we were at another venue with plenty to do and see!
